Honeycomb paper box faces challenges

The amount of glue in the production process is very large. There is a lot of water in the glue. In the manufacture of honeycomb paperboard, manufacturers often shorten the drying time to reduce energy consumption, and use natural air drying in the forming stage of products. When the weather conditions are not good or the shipment is urgent, the finished product often fails to meet the required moisture content standards, and the performance does not meet the requirements.

Second, the post-processing efficiency of honeycomb paperboard is low. Compared with foreign developed countries, there is a large gap between the integrity and automation of domestic cellular production lines. In the production process, there are many manual operations, especially the post-processing of honeycomb products. The tactics of the sea are often adopted, and the efficiency is low. The equipment and tools are simple.

Third, honeycomb paperboard packaging has poor resistance to multiple impacts. As we all know, the flat compressive strength is the strength of honeycomb paperboard. If the impact of the honeycomb paperboard package exceeds its flat compressive strength, a cushioning effect is produced by deformation of the core paper. This deformation is non-linear and irreversible. EPE, EPS and other buffer materials can absorb energy through self-deformation. External force withdrawal can rebound. The impact resistance of honeycomb paperboard is relatively poor. When a large deformation buffer occurs, the honeycomb core paper will be crushed and the noodle paper will break. The resistance to impact is basically only once.
